Naugatuck Valley Organizations Present 2nd Prenatal Survey Raffle Prizes

A lucky winner #2 was provided with a state-of-the-art baby car seat, a hand-knit baby blanket and a $25 Visa gift card on Monday, May 17.  Winner Jennifer Nelson of Seymour was one of more than 60 pregnant Naugatuck Valley women who have completed a prenatal survey on health and lifestyle behaviors during pregnancy.  Her gifts were presented by Cathi Kellett, Safe Kids Greater Naugatuck Valley Coalition Coordinator; and Rose Richi, Health and Nutrition Coordinator for TEAM Inc Early Childhood Program.

Jennifer, who lives with her husband and their preschooler, was delighted to contribute her responses to this research, which is a collaborative effort by local health and social service organizations.  Completed surveys will help to identify possible barriers to optimal health of Valley mothers and their newborns.
