Hispanic Heritage Month

Yesterday marked the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, observed from September 15th to October 15th to coincide with the anniversary of independence for many Latin American countries. To celebrate, NVHD is honoring 4 individuals of Hispanic origin who have contributed to the advancement of public health, both in the United States and globally. Read on to learn more!

Ayer marcó el inicio del Mes de la Herencia Hispana, que se celebra del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre para coincidir con el aniversario de la independencia de muchos países latinoamericanos.
