The Naugatuck Valley Health District is seeking a per diem licensed sanitarian to conduct inspections of food service establishments and temporary food events in the district. The position reports to the Assistant Director of Environmental Health Services.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in public health or environmental health or a related field is required. The applicant must be fully certified in food service inspections by the State of Connecticut and hold a valid CT motor vehicle license.

Compensation
This position is up to 21 hours per week (hours are flexible) and has a competitive salary commensurate with experience and education.
