The East Derby water system is experiencing a low pressure and no water event, due to a main break caused by a contractor. Out of an abundance of caution, Aquarion recommends as a precaution that customers boil their water before consuming it, or use bottled water, until it can be confirmed that the water is safe to drink. This precautionary advisory will remain in effect until further notice. We are collecting additional samples and expect to have results 24 to 48 hours after the samples are collected.
